Q: In what way were you surprised when you went to Venezuela?
A: The most important thing in my life is cultivating my relationship with Christ and learning more about Him each day. I want to apply what I am learning to my every day life.
Q: What is a characteristic of God that is particularly meaningful to you? A: The grace and mercy of God is extremely special to me, because I mess up and make mistakes so much. God is always there to forgive me and help me to change my life. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that I could go to Heaven by only believing in Jesus, not by how ‘good’ of a person I am. Q: What life lessons have you learned from softball in general? A: I have learned how to work hard, even when I don’t feel like it. I’ve learned how to be encouraging to other people by picking them up when they are down. If God were on the field or at work or wherever, He would be the hardest worker and the most loving person. Softball has allowed me to put into action the things God has taught me. | |
