Sports Devos & Bible Studies

"Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory..." (Psalm 115:1, NLT). My prayer for these sports devotionals and Bible studies is that you and your teammates will truly experience the reality of God's Life-giving Word...the person of JESUS! And in that, God's significance is declared and displayed through your lives.  --Julie

Did You Catch That?

While the sports world defines success through wins-loses, God defines success in sports as: "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

What if Jesus wasn't as interested in the competitions we win or lose as He was in our relationships and how we encourage or hurt one another? How might this perspective change how we interact with our coaches/teammates on and off the field?
