COMPETITIVE EDGE INT'L (CEI), an interdenominational Christian sports ministry, started in 1997 with a purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus through sports. In 2000, CEI began refocusing it's resources to reaching the unreached--those who rarely or have never had an opportunity to hear the good news--through sports.

CEI's teams are comprised of athletes, coaches and athletic trainers who follow Jesus and desire to reach the unreached through their passions and expertise in sports. Team members are selected by their personal relationship with the Lord, knowledge and skill in sports, and recommendations from references. CEI partners with Athletes in Action in sending softball teams, and its staff has experience in sending teams overseas since 1984.

CEI's Vision: to invite the unreached to experience Life with God and train team members to fully live out who they are in Christ.

CEI's Strategy: to partner with nationals, missionaries and churches through its 2 to 4 week short-term mission teams (Int'l Sports Ministry Teams and First Responders Sports Teams).
